As far back as I can remember I loved to draw, I would draw anything that gave me interest, especially people. I can recall my dad once telling me that my kindergarden teacher was the first to tell him that I had a special talent for art. In junior high school I had the opportunity of taking weekly classes in oil painting with two or three other gentlemen who were about thirty years older than me, for me it was very instumental in my art development. In high school I was awarded a summer scholarship to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California where afterwards I would study off and on for a couple of years. Professionally I got my start freelancing in the music industry creating everything from record company icons, t-shirt and tour jacketcdesigns, to cd cover art.

Also at that time and on through the early 90's I found myself working in the entertainment industry traveling the world as a dancer performing in stadiums, theatres, and nightclubs. I worked on several motion pictures, television shows, music videos, commercials and tours. Some notable people whom I've worked with and shows were: Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Al Green, The Pet Shop Boys, Toni Basil, Jody Watley, Gerardo, The Tonight Show, Arsenio Hall Show, The Apollo Theatre, American Bandstand, Soul Train, and the closing Ceremonies of the '84 Olympics. Although having a fairly successful run, I knew fully that I would one day eventually go back to resume my career as an artist and actually found it to be a major advantage for me to use connections I made within the entertainment industry to later solicit for future work.

Previous freelance clients include: SonyBMG, Univision Music, Capital EMI, MCA and Motown Records, Pepsi Cola, and Adidas just to name a few. I've worked on art projects that included first hand communication with such music industry giants as: Glenn Frey(Eagles), Lionel Richie(Commodores), and Sheila E.(Prince family). My versatility extends to many styles and mediums which range from hand illustration and painting to the digital format utilizing the computer.

I currently reside in California, am a devout Christian and father of two daughters Brianna and Kaley. Although I'm officially retired as an entertainer, I still at times am invited to travel around judging competitions, giving demonstrations and teaching new students young and old in other countries, most recently: France, Seoul Korea, Bei Jing China and Japan. But when home I'm usually spending time with my family, hanging out with my daughters, at Grace Providence Church on sundays, or on my Mac working on something new.

I am confident that I posess the skill level but especially the creativity to take on any and all projects presented to me. I hope that you enjoy my site and look forward only to have the opportunity to work with you in the very near future. ddd
